absent lift weak wifi
my visit encountered a couple snags i wasn't thrilled about the absence of a lift proved a minor inconvenience with luggage transport to upper floors it's a small detail but mattered the wi-fi signal strength in my room was surprisingly weak for a modern hotel a more robust connection would've enhanced the stay.

my stay lasted several nights. we received a room upgrade, a very welcome surprise. the complimentary tea and coffee were good quality, as were the bathroom products, also available in the shop. breakfast had locally sourced ingredients, and the quality was 10/10.
the chicken dish was quite dry. i felt it had been cooked too many times.

I stayed in a Character Double Room with Sofa Bed. The room had nice amenities. The hotel location is central for accessing restaurants and shops. The staff was attentive during breakfast service.
The room felt quite warm upon arrival. Extra fans were needed.

My room had a modern rainfall shower. Breakfast included a full English option that was tasty. The hotel offered a central location ideal for exploring the town.
I experienced no water in the hotel one day. Staff did not communicate this issue proactively. A younger staff member gave an unwelcoming greeting upon arrival.
